Hogwarts sock kit swap Questionnaire

1. What Hogwarts house have you been sorted into?

2. List your favorite double-point needle brands, including size and length. Or would you prefer circulars?
I've only knitted socks with with circulars so far and I love the Addi's!

3. Would you like to try a new brand needle? If so, which brand? Size? Length?
Sure. I only have Addi's in size two and size 4 (two different lengths) So any other size, 0, 1, or 3 in circulars would be great. If there is a brand you like, I'd be happy to try them!

4. If you are a RAVENCLAW, do you prefer the colors in the film or the book? Do you have a strong preference? N/A

Nothing that I think pertains to the swap, unless you are going to send me something really dusty.

hogwarts sock kit swap

Ok, so last month I got in a little over my head with the Hogwart's Sock swap, seeing as I have never knitted socks before. I am almost done though! Anyway, this time around I thought I'd go with the sock kit swap so I don't have the pressure of knitting socks for someone else. It looks like it should be lots of fun. Today is the last day to sign up here

very first needle felted project ever!

I took a needle felting class from a local artist and had lots of fun. This little tree frog is my first project.

Holy Coffee swap package!!!

I got my package from Pheelya yesterday for the Knitter's Coffee Swap II and WOW!

I realize that I pretty much suck at taking decent pictures for this kind of thing but hopefully you'll get the idea. First of all she had three teddy bears,one for each of my kids, and some books for them as well. A book for me too, something to read while I wait for the last Harry Potter...(Pheelya is a librarian)
There was also two beautiful skeins of merino wool that I just love the color of and three skeins of a very soft and pretty blue yarn. Some wool wash was in there, an awesome big mermaid mug, two boxes of biscotti, some Harry Potter notecards, a really cute fairy sitting on a pretty glass orb, and oh, the coffee of course. Some great "Hawaiian Hazelnut" flavored coffee and Some Sumatra Coffee that I think I'll try in the morning. I have a feeling I'm forgetting something, there was so much in there. I was definitely spoiled! I love it all. Thank you so much Pheelya!!!
